Natcore makes solar cells. Looking for a major aluminum foil manufacturer for its’ Natcore Foil Cell™.
Per https://fas.org/blogs/secrecy/2010/10/invention_secrecy_2010/, “the 1971 list [on secrecy orders from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office] indicates that patents for solar photovoltaic generators were subject to review and possible restriction if the photovoltaics were more than 20% efficient.”
While I applaud the company for using aluminum instead of silver, I was unable to find the energy efficiency of their black silicon solar cells on their website. I would be interested to know if Natcore has recorded efficiencies above 20% with their aluminum-backed solar cells. And if their quality control testing includes adverse environments such as dust (storms), hail, and temperature extremes.
I do not own any Natcore stock, in the past or present.
